Her Voice — Women’s Gathering: Palestine & Cymru The first conference of its kind in Wales

Monday 22 June | 2pm–5pm Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre, Kingsway, Newport NP20 1HG. All women and allies warmly welcome.

On Monday 22 June, we are hosting Her Voice from Palestine— a women’s gathering bringing together Palestinian and Welsh women for an afternoon of testimony, solidarity, and sisterhood.

As part of a landmark two-day visit to Newport, a delegation of Palestinian women from the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem will share their stories firsthand: women who have lived under military occupation, rebuilt their lives under siege, lost loved ones, and refuse to be silenced.

This is the first conference of its kind in Wales. A rare and precious opportunity to hear directly from Palestinian women activists and community leaders — not through a screen, not through a news report, but in the same room, person to person.

What to Expect

  • Personal testimonies from Palestinian women living under occupation
  • Honest, powerful conversation about resistance, resilience, and hope
  • A space to connect with women from your own community who share your values
  • An afternoon that will move you, inspire you, and stay with you

Why Attend?

Because Palestinian women are not just victims of a crisis — they are organisers, leaders, mothers, artists, and activists. Their voices deserve to be heard. And right now, in Newport, you have the chance to hear them.

Because solidarity is not just a word. It is showing up.

Because this conference will not happen again.

Organised by Newport PSC in collaboration with CADFA and Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre.
