This week we received the shocking announcement that the Israeli government has approved a bill that will mandate the death penalty by hanging, EXCLUSIVELY, for Palestinians, convicted of fatal attacks making the death penalty the default punishment for Palestinians. Settlers responsible for killing Palestinians will go unpunished. This law, obscenely celebrated with champagne by Ben Gavir in the Knesset, confirms that Israel is an apartheid state, just in case there was any doubt. Again, the Israeli government continues to dehumanise; oppress and kill the Palestinians.
We need to put pressure on the UK government to use all its diplomatic and economic leverage to hold the Israeli Government to account.
